Forgotten

Sun sets my heavy heart down

Leaving worst of day behind

My heart is still, no ripple

Waiting for your call that thunders the sky

Heart travels back to the past

My bad, I left you for uncertainty

Years went so fast ten and five

Hopeless of our re-union

Yet a deep voice foretells our encounter

Even if we find out each other or not

Your name is forever in my mind engraved

In future, if our eyes meet by mischance

Before we verbalize our greetings

Let me ask you “Do you recognize me?

Do you remember me old friend?”
